4464 - Senior Web Infrastructure Analyst, San Leandro, California / Internet Group
Responsibilities: Work with our IT department and web-hosting vendor to ensure Our client web sites reliability, availability and service ability. Design, implement and support web sites where web servers, applications servers and database servers work together to provide Internet web services. Design, implement and support file transfer and database batch processes. Troubleshoot server and network problems, applying fixes as well as vendor service packs where applicable. Perform infrastructure vendor analysis, recommendation, implementation and subsequent vendor relations – including but not limited to change control, site traffic analysis, and customer support.

Requirements: At least 3 years hands on experience working with NT server and IIS. Working experience with network equipment including load balancing and network monitors. Familiar with web site performance and web system security issues. Good understanding of HTML, web programming and database technology as well as TCP/IP networks, SMTP/POP technology, PC to mainframe connectivity issues and Microsoft clustering technology. 4463 - Web Content Developer/Graphic Artist – Oakland, CA
Our client is a $50 Billion financial services provider, which currently offers real estate loans, investments and banking services through its retail network of 400 locations in 26 states.  Recently, they initiated mortgage sales over the Internet and is committed to building an online presence to drive up sales across all product categories. The Internet Group is an essential part of our strategic plan and the company’s vision for our future. We are looking for someone who works in a fast-paced Web production environment for the launch and maintenance of a major transaction-based Web site.  You will work with our user interface design team to create and contribute to all visual aspects of site design.  Position requires collaboration with production and creative staff, content contributors, and business unit managers.  This position reports to the Manager of Creative Services in the Internet Group.

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished graphic artist who can create innovative, attractive, and most of all, intuitive illustrations, icons, and designs that support our brand and contribute to the usability and appeal of the site. Create and optimize Web graphic images, including spot graphics, interface elements, and diagrams.  Work within design guidelines and contribute to consistent brand image. We need someone with the understanding of Web-based technologies and thorough knowledge of PhotoShop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Flash and/or other design-related applications is essential. Familiarity with Web page layout applications such as Dreamweaver, and FrontPage. Knowledge of HTML/DHTML, Java, and JavaScript a plus. Knowledge of various design techniques and characteristics, such as OS and Web palettes, animated gifs, and when, why, how to create aliased & anti-aliased graphics.

A minimum of 3 years experience with an advertising agency, corporate marketing department, or corporate in-house agency, including and at least 2 years creating Web graphics.  Previous supervisory experience a plus. Excellent design, strategic and conceptual skills.  Solid portfolio with range of creative samples, especially functional Web graphics and designs. Must be proactive, innovative, and extremely detail-oriented. Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, graphic design, English, journalism or communications.

Salary: $70,000-$100,000-depending on education background and experience.
